Se il titolo lo avessi scritto in uno di quei giochini in cui bisogna accoppiare parole presenti in due colonne, sicuramente avrei commesso un errore. Infatti la apple non ha nulla a che vedere con le interfacce consistenti.

Per esempio la combinazione mela+w serve per chiudere una finestra (come dicono loro stessi qui: fonte).
Tuttavia in safari la stessa combinazione serve invece per chiudere una scheda.

Quando si fa un aggiornamento, il gestore delle password chiederà se si vuole continuare a permettere al programma aggiornato di accedere alle password oppure no.
Per continuare come prima, bisogna premere "modifica tutto", mentre per impedire alla nuova versione di accedere alle password si deve premere "non cambiare niente".
A me sembra un po' anti-intuitivo.

Ma veniamo alle interfacce grafiche, che dovrebbero essere tutte uguali: alcune sono grigio chiaro, alcune grigio scuro, alcune hanno la separazione tra la barra del titolo ed il resto ed altre no, alcune sono metallo graffiato mentre molte altre appaiono lisce.
Non ero partito per fare comparazioni, ma quando su gnu/linux si sceglie un tema è quello per tutte le applicazioni che usano quel toolkit. Su mac esiste un solo toolkit ma ogni applicazione è diversa. Che cosa strana.

Qual'è l'azione che si fa più di frequente dopo aver selezionato un file?
Io direi "lo si apre" mentre alla apple pensano che la risposta sia "si cambia il nome del file". Come se la gente passasse le giornate a cambiare tutti i nomi dei file di continuo.
Mi spiego.
Premere uno dei 2 tasti invio presenti sulla tastiera di un mac mentre un file è selezionato, comporterà la ridenominazione. Per aprirlo bisogna premere mela+o.
Cioè 2 tasti per l'azione più frequente ed 1 tasto per l'azione meno frequente. Davvero ben studiato senza dubbio.
Inoltre il tasto spazio serve a selezionare il primo file in alto a sinistra. Altra azione che tutti fanno di continuo...

Tutto vero quello che hai scritto, ma francamente non mi sembrano incongruenze.. Cioè, mela+w chiudo un'istanza del programma, che sia un tab o una finestra poco importa, a me è venuto spontaneo sin dall'inizio usare questa funzione. Un po' meno, l'invio che ridenomina in effetti.. Ma il "tasto destro" con un singolo colpo con due dita sul trackpad che hanno messo su leopard al posto di ctrl+click non è usabilità allo stato puro?

Cioè, MacOsX è usabilità ed estetica allo stato puro, è inutile che parli :P
Avrei apprezzato più un discorso sulle incongruenze stilistiche di Leopard, ma tanto per sorridere.. :P A me il problema non mi tocca minimamente, se iTunes abbia uno stile un po' diverso dai programmi del pacchetto iLife o dal Finder non mi importa.

Se parliamo di KDE, soprattutto in versioni inferiori alla 4, potremmo scrivere un libro :D Mi ricordo ancora le finestre non ridimensionabili con l'interfaccia interna troppo grande per essere contenuta nella cornice e le scrool bar a destra e in basso.
Cose di tale orribilio sulla prima beta di Leopard (il peggior macosx mai creato dopo la 10.0 credo) non esistevano... :fischio: :D

Mi ero illuso di poter fare un post del genere senza essere bastonato :-p

Ma se io avessi più finestre e più tab e volessi chiudere una finestra con tutti i tab.. sarebbe più logico mantenere la solita shortcut secondo me.
Le due dita si possono abilitare pure su tiger. Magari ora le avranno messe di default... Però le ho sempre usate.
Invece devo dire che mi manca il tasto centrale per copiare e incollare.. Quella si che è vera usabilità! (Su GNU/Linux ho configurato per usare 2 dita per il tasto centrale e 3 per il tasto destro).

Non avendo leopard, non posso parlarne :-)
Ah vogliamo parlare di itunes? L'unico programma che chiede un numero di carta di credito per scaricare le copertine degli album.

Parlando di kde... Almeno li si può cambiare il colore delle finestre, la disposizione dei pulsanti nella barra del titolo, se mettere il menù nella finestra o in alto (e metterlo nella finestra è certamente meglio dato che si fa meno strada con il mouse), l'azione del doppio click... E tutto questo già nella versione 3.

Certo c'erano alcune finestre fatte male, ma almeno si può usare la tastiera per scegliere tra ok e annulla. Sul mac pare che la tastiera sia una specie di orpello decorativo.
